American English Pronunciation (Online-Adults Only)

For English Language Learners-Class starts on 4/16. To register: Email your full name email address and class code PATPRO-2 to prolit@hclibrary.org. Improve your spoken English and American accent with this class. We will focus on listening and speaking skills with an emphasis on everyday pronunciation intonation and stress as well as unique American rhythms. You will learn to recognize American speech patterns and understand confounding expressions such as ìwudja wanna arn-cha and gonna.î Each week will provide formal instruction as well as time for guided conversation to practice your new skills.
